Calculators use simple assumptions (fixed returns, no taxes or inflation unless stated) and can't predict real results. Past market returns do not guarantee future returns. Investing involves risk, including loss of principal.

Figures are dated. Yearly numbers such as contribution limits and exemptions are labeled with their year and sources. Check IRS.gov, SSA.gov, and other official sources for the current year.

Scam help is not law enforcement. The scam and fraud pages (Book 3, "Scammed? Get help", and the scam tools) point you to official agencies and hotlines. The 1% Academy can't recover money, investigate a crime, or contact anyone for you. If anyone is in physical danger, call 911.
